Qualifications
The candidate must have a proven service engineer's background in electrical & mechanical applications, must be able to multi-task, good communication skills, be computer literate and be a quick thinker, well presented with the ability to proactively manage customer relations.
Good communication skills and telephone manner. A working knowledge of windows outlook, word and excel is required.
17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations BS 7671 qualification would be a benefit but not essential, as would a background in the catering industry.
The Role
To be able to install service and maintain a wide range of IMC’s product range and ensure the customer’s issues are dealt with fast, efficiently and well. Good presentation skills will be required to train customers and end users to use the range of IMC products.
Work Objectives
To deliver high quality customer service through service support and back up.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
To respond to service requests for IMC machines in the UK and possibly IMC’s export market from time to time
To answer technical questions for the IMC product range
Report back to the Service Desk Coordinator all site visit reports
Undertake site surveys & and provide support to the sales managers on customer projects
Install or help with installations
Undertake customer training on IMC products
Required to staff the service desk from time to time
Responsible for the maintenance of the IMC service van
When covering the service desk
To allocate service calls with IMC's approved service agents
To quote customers for equipment repairs
To raise dispatch & sales orders for parts deliveries
To check service agent invoices
Log all service calls & allocates the relevant service agent
Responsible for organising day to day tasks for the IMC engineer
Allocate / despatch stock to service agents, IMC service van & customers
Compile and issue quotes for chargeable calls
